Who we’re looking for
“Climate deep-tech” refers to companies built on substantial scientific or engineering breakthroughs, innovating in the climate space.We want to work with businesses that advance technology, pushing the boundary of what’s physically, chemically, or computationally possible.
Orbit is built for climate deep-tech founders
innovating in energy & the built environment:
• E.g., energy generation, renewables, storage, and grids, materials, construction, industrial decarbonization, etc.
• Has a working product, not just a deck, something real that can be sold
• Has first funding in place, and may be preparing their seed raise
• In active conversations with named buyers: first contact, LOIs, early customers
• Has real commercial ambition, not just a validated prototype
• Based in Europe, ideally in Germany
Not for you if:
• You're still at idea stage with no validation
• You want to be told which problem to solve
• You're looking for a program to do the work for you
• Your climate angle is only cosmetic.
